Expanding intellectual, social, and spiritual development for "big school" readiness.

In our Early Education Department, your child will be gently guided in making the transition from an individual learner to a group participant, an important part of development, where he or she can begin to learn sharing and social skills. Our talented teachers are committed to providing a loving, nurturing, and safe environment where preschoolers smile while they sing, pray, count, create and explore. Your preschooler’s spirit will soar as they participate in a hands-on age-appropriate curriculum that fosters a love for learning and new adventures. In this balanced environment, children feel confident to try new things and if necessary, try again.

Spiritual Development

The Bible is the tool through which all learning is viewed. Scripture is woven into daily curriculum to help children understand and apply Biblical truths within their own lives. Our faculty and staff are committed to instilling a desire to obey and walk closely to God as these truths are made known. Daily Bible instruction and prayer, Scripture memorization, and weekly chapel are all integrated into the classroom experience.

K-3 Year Old Program

This year will be a new beginning for your child with an open door of learning before them. Our age 3 classes consist of 10 students per teacher.

The academic year is designed with a basic introduction to phonics and the alphabet along with number recognition. Penmanship skills are developed as their fine motor skills advance. Students also begin to build a Spanish vocabulary which helps to foster an appreciation for foreign language and people of diverse backgrounds.

Developing social skills, playing with other children, and learning to sit in a structured classroom setting are all a part of the daily educational experience. In addition, basic classroom rules and structure will be learned. This groundwork, laid by teachers, grooms the child’s desire to learn God’s plan for his/her life and, in turn, to obey God’s Word.

K-4 Year Old Program

This is an exciting time as we watch children begin to grow and develop. Our class size is limited to 18 students per teacher.

Students will begin to learn the key elements of phonetic reading. After Christmas vacation, the students begin reading circles. Students begin to work independently at their desk while others read with the teacher.

This year will be carefully coordinated to build a solid foundation for our kindergarten. Children will learn to count up to 40. This will include number recognition and concepts. Penmanship skills are developed daily. Spanish is also taught giving students exposure to a new language while developing an appreciation for people of diverse cultures. Social studies and science are also introduced into the curriculum. CCS provides an overall learning experience incorporating games, drama, art, and music.

K-5 Year Old Program

Our K-5 program falls under our elementary department. For more specific information about K-5 contact our admissions office.

Your child will HAVE FUN every day!
