About Intramural Sports

The goal of intramural sports at CCS is to introduce children to athletics and offer a Christian environment with a high level of competition. This fulfills a part of the CCS  motto, “...teaching the whole child the whole truth.”  We strive to do this by showing students how discipline and hard work can be applied to every aspect of their lives.

Intramural sports opportunities are offered to CCS students who are in grades 1-6 with soccer being open to K-5 students as well.  The following sports are offered during the 2007-2008 school year:

• Basketball
  Boys and Girls - Grades K5-6
  Registration Dates are August 13-17
  Games will be August 23 - September 29

  Boys - Grades 3-6
  Registration Dates are October 1 - 12
  Deadline for Registrations is October 12
  Practices and Games will be October 15 - December 1
  Coaches/Referee/Parents Meeting on October 16,
  in the Student Center: Coaches at 6:00 pm,
  Referees at 6:15 pm, Parents at 6:30 pm

Would you like to Volunteer?

We need volunteer parents to coach the teams and for other intramural sports responsibilities.  If you would like to volunteer, please print and complete an Intramurals Volunteer Application and return it to the CCS Athletics Department, Attention: Mary Beth Young.  Someone from the Athletics Department will then contact you.

Registration Procedure

Print and complete the appropriate Intramurals Registration Form (above) for your child and return it to the CCS Elementary School Office, Attention: MaryBeth Young, along with your $30 registration fee by the appropriate registration deadline listed above.
