Middle School Choir - "Refuge"
Directed by Angie Bacon
The Middle School choir, Refuge, is composed of many talented middle school students. During the course of the year students learn to sight-read literature, to sing with proper vocal techniques, to harmonize with other parts, and to work as a team.
Performance opportunities for these students include District 3 Honor Chorus, Georgia All-State Chorus, ASCI Choral and Solo Festival, GMEA District Choral evaluation, "America Sings," and various school and community venues.

Highlights from 2008-2009
The CCS Middle School Choir performed at the Southern
Star Music Festival in Atlanta in March.

The group received straight "excellents" for their performance!
