The High School choir, "Latrevo," has many opportunities throughout the year to participate in advanced choral activities in Georgia and other states. They have been involved in the Stetson University Honor Chorus, the GISA Honor Chorus, ASCI Choral and Solo Festival, Georgia All-State chorus auditions, GMEA Choral evaluation, District 3 Honor Chorus, "America Sings," GISA State Literary Rally, and a Carnegie Hall performance.
These students learn to sight-read literature, to sing with proper vocal techniques, to harmonize with other parts, to sing in various styles, and to minister to others with their music. There is a focus on outside ministry through music in this group, therefore the group is also involved in ministry tours.

CCS High School Choir

All Choirs
The high school chorus, Latrevo, recently returned from Orlando, Florida, where they participated in "Singbration"
This choral event included 320 participants from across the U.S. and Brazil. The students practiced many hours prior to their arrival and then many more hours once they got to Orlando. The group paraded down Main Street at Walt Disney World and performed at Cinderella's Castle.
The students also collected items and prepared care packages for families at the local Ronald McDonald Houses. They also enjoyed vocal workshops with the a cappella group, Toxic Audio, on two occasions.
"We are very proud of Latrevo and the wonderful job they did. They represented Calvary Christian School well," said Angie Bacon.
