What's Happening . . .
Class of 2007
Jason Richardson, class of 2007, will embark on a 2-month missions trip to Africa with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) on January 7, 2008.
Congratulations to Amy Brown, class of 2007, for making the Dean's List with a 3.95 GPA her first semester at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.
Class of 2005
Megan Harris, graduate of 2005, is currently attending Columbus State University seeking a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She is planning to attend the University of Georgia in the fall to continue her studies.
Haley Moore, class of 2005, will be completing her Junior year in May, 2008, at Auburn University where she is majoring in Foriegn Language - Spanish. Her career aspirations are to be a middle school Spanish teacher or a lindquist/translator. Haley is excited that her brother, Brad Moore, class of 2008 senior, will be attending Auburn University this Fall, where he has been accepted into Auburn's School of Engineering.

Class of 2002
Jason Reynolds, class of 2002, graduated from CSU in May of 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. While as CSU he was a member
of the CSU Communications Honor Society. Jason currently is the Conference Center Coordinator for Columbus Regional and worship leader at Lamb Baptist Church
in Smiths, Alabama.
Grant Smithwick, class of 2002, has been the CCS Elementary P.E. teacher for the past three years and the Varsity Basketball assistant coach for the past 5 years. 2007 will be his first year
as Head Coach of the Varsity Baseball team. Grant married Jamie Bane in May 2005. He will be graduating from Columbus State University with a BBA in General Business in May 2007 after which time he will be working at Master Wall, Inc. “I love Calvary , and I hope God continues to bless this great ministry.”
Class of 2000
Micah Harris Janik, graduate of 2000, graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. She currently teaches Language Arts and Social Studies to fourth and fifth grade students in Dallas , Texas . Micah’s husband, Grant, is attending Southwestern Seminary where he is working towards a Masters of Divinity.
Candy Cotton, class of 200, attended CCS from Kindergarten through 12th grade. She is a wife and mother, and is studying at CTC to become a teacher, "possibly returning to CCS to teach at the school I love," she says.
