Save Those Pop Tabs!

This community-wide recycling program currently pays 80% of the Ronald McDonald House's utility bills. We are going to continue to collect tabs throughout this next year, so start or keep saving your pop tabs and bring them to the collection area located in each school's office.
The deadline for turning in pop tabs for the 2011-2012
school year is Friday, April 13, 2012.

Pop Tabs Donated to Ronald McDonald House.
2008 Donations
The recycling company weighed and figured the amount of money that 331 pounds will give the Ronald McDonald House and our donation is a little over $225. That's an amazing donation to a very worthy cause. Thank you all for the small and large amounts of Pop Tabs you collected. If we all help, we can do SO much!
Here are the totals for the last 5 years of collection.

A reminder that Calvary Christian School is continuing to collect money to support orphaned children in India this year through the ministry of Hopegivers International. Any and all donations for this cause are appreciated.
It has been our practice at CCS to try to collect $1.00 from each student on the first Monday of every month from preschool and elementary students, and the first Thursday of the month from High School and Middle School students which is sent directly to Hopegivers. Each classroom/homeroom has an orphan they are collecting money for each month. Each class has a picture of an India orphan so they can put a face with the need. Each homeroom is responsible for collecting at least $23 a month for "their" orphan. Please, also remember to pray for all of the Indian orphans.
An alternative to remembering to send $1.00 per month is to send $10 at the first of the year to cover the entire year.
Please submit donations to your child's teacher/homeroom teacher (1st period teacher for high school) in an envelope labeled "India Orphan."
Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.
